Quick Start with Spine Workspace
Get Up and Running in 5 Steps
Spine Workspace connects your tools, assembles your context, and gives you a single workbench with AI assistance. Here's how to get started.
Step 1: Understand Your Pain
Before we solve it, let's acknowledge it. Take 2 minutes to identify:
- How many tools do you use daily?
- How often do you lose track of a conversation or decision?
- How much time do you spend switching between apps?
- How many opportunities have you missed because of fragmented information?
→ Read about common pain points
Step 2: Connect Your First Tool
Spine starts by connecting to your existing systems. We don't replace them—we make them better together.
Supported Systems
- CRM: Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive
- Communication: Slack, Microsoft Teams, Email
- Project Management: Asana, Trello, Jira, Linear
- Documents: Google Workspace, Notion, Confluence
- Finance: QuickBooks, Xero, Stripe
- Developer Tools: GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
- AI Platforms: OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, etc.
Connection Process
- Navigate to Integrations Hub in your Spine dashboard
- Select your system from the catalog
- Authenticate with OAuth or API key
- Configure what data to sync
- Test the connection
Time required: 2-5 minutes per integration
Step 3: Meet Your Twin
Your Twin is your digital representative in Spine Workspace. It:
- Remembers your work history and preferences
- Understands your context and permissions
- Assists with suggestions, recommendations, and proposals
- Learns from your decisions and feedback
First Twin Interaction
- Open your Spine Workbench
- Look for the Twin panel (usually on the right)
- Ask Twin: "What should I focus on today?"
- Review the context Twin has assembled
- Accept, modify, or reject Twin's suggestions
Pro tip: Twin works best when you provide feedback. Use 👍/👎 reactions and comments to help Twin learn.
Step 4: Experience One View
The One View is your personalized workbench that brings together:
- My Work: Tasks, approvals, and actions that need your attention
- Context: Related information, conversations, and documents
- Communications: Messages and updates in one timeline
- Views: Different perspectives on your work (Grid, Board, Canvas, Timeline)
Navigate Your Workbench
- Use the left sidebar to switch between work areas
- Click on any entity (Account, Deal, Ticket) to see its 360° view
- Use the search bar to find anything in your connected systems
- Bookmark important views for quick access
Time to first value: 5-10 minutes
Step 5: Try a Workflow
Spine Workspace includes pre-built workflows for common business processes. Try one:
Example: Customer Renewal Workflow
- Navigate to Account Success domain
- Select an account due for renewal
- Twin will assemble:
- Contract details and renewal date
- Usage history and health score
- Previous renewal conversations
- Stakeholder information
- Review Twin's renewal risk assessment
- Approve or modify the renewal proposal
- Twin can draft the renewal email
- You review and send from your connected email
Result: A task that would take 30+ minutes now takes 5.
