Three Pillars Architecture

Every frontend component follows a clean pattern:

  1. Projection Manifest — What can this frontend do?

    • Navigation routes
    • Available widgets
    • Callable commands
    • Required capabilities
    • User permissions
  2. Gateway SDK — How does it talk to backend?

    • Type-safe API client
    • Automatic retry logic
    • Batch request optimization
    • Error handling with fallbacks
  3. Design System — How does it look?

    • Semantic color tokens
    • Typography scales
    • Spacing system
    • Component library
    • Interaction patterns

Current Backend Integration (InsightsView)

Wired Endpoints:

  • GET /api/v1/cognitive/spine — Fetches KPI metrics (Revenue, Clients, Tasks, Health)
  • GET /api/v1/cognitive/signals — Fetches AI insights (Metrics, Trends, Risks, Opportunities)

Features:

  • Real-time data from backend
  • Skeleton loaders during fetch
  • Error handling with fallback to mock data
  • Type-safe TypeScript implementation
  • Zero TypeScript errors (tsc --noEmit)
