14 — Responsive Layout and Mobile Behavior
Status: Active frontend handoff
The Workbench remains one surface at every viewport.
Desktop
- persistent operational/platform navigation where permitted;
- primary work canvas owns available width;
- entity/context detail may use a temporary adjacent region;
- Twin appears only as a bounded contextual card or explicit detail.
Tablet
- navigation collapses to a rail or modal drawer;
- tables preserve essential identity/status fields and move secondary fields
into record detail; - canvas supports pan/zoom and focused block editing;
- approval actions remain visible with proposal/evidence context.
Mobile
- navigation uses an accessible sheet or compact route selector;
- tables become prioritized record lists;
- detail, approval and contextual Twin content open as focused sheets;
- no hover-only controls;
- destructive/approval actions require a clear confirmation step.
Accessibility and continuity
- WCAG 2.2 AA target, keyboard operation and visible focus;
- touch targets at least 44×44 CSS pixels;
- semantic headings, labels and live-region status;
- reduced-motion support;
- unsaved local drafts survive viewport changes;
- tenant, entity, projection and active operation remain stable across layout
transitions.
