IntegrateWise application boundaries
Status: Frozen for implementation
Canonical applications
| Application | Responsibility | Primary users |
|---|---|---|
apps/marketing | Public website, blog, changelog and public connector catalogue | Prospects and public visitors |
apps/docs | Public product, API, SDK and MCP documentation | Customers and developers |
apps/platform-console | IntegrateWise platform control plane | Platform operators, support engineers and delegated administrators |
apps/workspace | Complete customer-facing continuity product | Customer users and workspace administrators |
apps/desktop | Native shell over Workspace contracts | Customer users |
apps/mobile | Mobile shell over Workspace contracts | Customer users |
apps/web is a transitional mixed application. It remains available until every route has an explicit owner and parity has been verified in its destination application.
Platform Console ownership
apps/platform-console owns administrative projections for:
- organizations and tenants
- identity infrastructure and access policy
- Integration Manager administration
- connector registry, manifests, adapters and runtime health
- MCP servers, tools and routing
- gateways, AI Gateway and model routing
- workers, queues and workflow execution
- Spine ingestion and projection health
- capability fabric
- memory and knowledge services
- governance policies and audit
- provider configuration and credentials infrastructure
- feature flags, billing, entitlements and deployment health
It must not contain normal customer workbenches.
Workspace ownership
apps/workspace owns:
- Home and My Work
- operational workbenches
- Account, Contact, Case, Project and other entity collections
- Entity 360
- activity and conversations
- Awareness Drawer
- Twin
- knowledge and memory
- proposals, approvals and handoffs
- customer connection activation and simplified health
- workspace settings, organization settings and billing
It must not expose worker topology, queue internals, gateway routing rules, model-provider credentials, connector-runtime internals, deployment internals or projection compiler details.
Administration scopes
| Scope | Location | Operates |
|---|---|---|
| Platform administration | apps/platform-console | The IntegrateWise platform and its infrastructure |
| Workspace administration | apps/workspace under Settings | One customer workspace, its members, permissions, policies and connections |
| Personal settings | apps/workspace under user preferences | One user's profile, notifications, sessions and preferences |
There is no separate ambiguous apps/admin application.
Integration Manager projections
The Integration Manager is one service with two projections:
- Platform projection: provider definitions, OAuth applications, adapter selection, connector manifests, scope templates, runtime health, tenant overrides, rate limits, synchronization policies, credential infrastructure and diagnostics.
- Workspace projection: connect a provider, select permissions, review policy, inspect simplified health, pause or disconnect, and request additional access.
Connector marketplace layers
- Public catalogue:
apps/marketing - Authenticated activation catalogue:
apps/workspace - Connector administration:
apps/platform-console - Runtime implementation:
services/connector-runtime,services/integration-manager,packages/connectorsandpackages/connector-contracts
Dependency rule
Applications consume platform APIs, SDKs and contracts. Platform services and packages must never import application code.
Migration sequence
- Establish deployable
platform-consoleandworkspaceshells without deletingapps/webroutes. - Inventory every route in
apps/weband assign one canonical owner. - Move shared behavior into services or packages before moving presentation routes.
- Migrate Platform Console routes and verify operator parity.
- Migrate Workspace routes and verify customer-product parity.
- Move public marketing, documentation and connector-catalogue routes to their public applications.
- Retire
apps/webonly after route, permission, telemetry and deployment parity is proven.
Vercel project mapping
| Vercel project | Root directory |
|---|---|
integratewise-live-platform-console | apps/platform-console |
integratewise-live-workspace | apps/workspace |
The existing integratewise-live-web project remains during migration. It must not be repointed until replacement routes are verified.
