They coordinate through **durable Work**.\n\n\n**Work is the common unit of activity** that carries objective, context, and state — so humans and AI can hand off without losing continuity.\n\n\n```text\n                    BUSINESS CONTEXT\n                           │\n                           ▼\n                         WORK\n              ┌─────────────────────────┐\n              │ objective               │\n              │ participants            │\n              │ business context slice  │\n              │ state & history         │\n              │ evidence                │\n              │ dependencies            │\n              └─────────────┬───────────┘\n                            │\n              ┌─────────────┼─────────────┐\n              ▼             ▼             ▼\n           HUMAN           TWIN        SPINE AGENT\n        Workbench      Workbench       (actor)\n              │             │             │\n              └─────────────┼─────────────┘\n                            ▼\n                        OUTCOME\n                            │\n                            ▼\n                   VERIFY → SPINE\n```\n\n## What Work Contains\n\n| Field | Meaning |\n|---|---|\n| **Ownership** | Who is responsible. Every Work has a human owner, even when an agent is executing a subtask. |\n| **Participants** | Human, Twin, Spine Agents involved — each with identity and authority. |\n| **Objective** | What business objective or outcome this Work serves. |\n| **Context** | The Business Context slice and Active Context Bundle it is grounded in. |\n| **State** | Current state and history (created → assigned → in-progress → awaiting approval → executed → verified → closed). |\n| **Evidence** | What proves what actually happened — receipts, verification, reconciliation. |\n| **Dependencies** | What this Work depends on and what depends on it. |\n| **Outcomes** | What was achieved, with what evidence, reconciled to what Spine update. |\n| **Handoffs** | Governed transfers between human, Twin, and agents — with full context, not a summary. |\n\n## Work Owns the Thread\n\n* A Work thread carries **communication** — messages, agent updates, Twin reasoning — all scoped to the Work and the Business Context it belongs to.\n* A Work handoff moves **state and evidence**, not just text. The next participant hydrates from the Work object and the Spine, not from a pasted transcript.\n* Closing Work is not a UI action. It is a **verified Spine update** with projection invalidation and rehydration.\n\n## Human / AI Participation\n\n| Pattern | How it works |\n|---|---|\n| **Human owns, Twin assists** | Twin assembles context, proposes plan, drafts approval; human decides. |\n| **Human delegates to agent** | Agent takes a subtask with its own continuity and authority; posts evidence back to Work. |\n| **Agent → agent handoff** | Second agent hydrates from same Work + Business Context; no re-briefing. |\n| **Agent → human return** | Human reviews agent evidence, verifies, and closes or iterates. |\n\nAll governed. All auditable.\n\n## Where to Go Next\n\n<CardGroup cols={2}>\n  \n    How Work moves: Business Intent → Context → Plan → Govern → Execute → Verify → Spine.\n  \n  \n    How multiple agents share Work without reconstructing context.\n  \n  \n    How the Active Context Bundle for this Work is built for each participant.\n  \n</CardGroup>\n"}
