Content is our primary demand channel ([50 §3](../09-gtm/50-gtm-strategy.md)); this is its editorial constitution.\n\n**Target audience:** Founder (writer), PMM hat (editor), future content hire.\n\n---\n\n## 1. Editorial Thesis\n\nWe publish one thing, in many forms: **the truth about work, AI, and trust — from someone who lived it.** Not product content with a thought-leadership costume. The reader is the Quiet Demotion demographic ([12 §3](../03-positioning-messaging/12-messaging-framework.md)): smart, burned, allergic to hype. They reward specificity, evidence, and the courage to name what failed — the same properties as the product.\n\n**The five standing themes (canon-evolved):**\n\n| Theme                     | The story                                                                      | Cadence         |\n| ------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | --------------- |\n| **T1 The Human API**      | Fragmentation lived: mornings, handovers, the reconstruction tax               | Weekly presence |\n| **T2 The Quiet Demotion** | AI trust: what broke it, what restores it (approval, evidence, silence)        | Weekly presence |\n| **T3 The Category**       | Work is leaving the apps; what a collaborative-work workspace is; the rubric   | 2×/month        |\n| **T4 Build in the Open**  | Design-partner learnings, honest metrics, the noisy-v1 → good-v4 journey       | 2×/month        |\n| **T5 The Craft**          | For technical readers: spine architecture, provenance, governed execution, MCP | Monthly         |\n\n## 2. The Engine (one essay, five surfaces)\n\n**Weekly rhythm (4 founder-hours):**\n\n```\nMon (2h)   Write the week's essay (800–1,500 words, one theme, one target query [55 Ring 2])\nTue (30m)  Publish: site (canonical) → newsletter [60] → LinkedIn native adaptation [59]\nWed–Fri (3×20m)  Derivative posts: one sharp excerpt/day on LinkedIn; comments answered\nFri (30m)  Log performance; bank reader replies as future essay seeds\n```\n\nEverything else — webinar talks ([61](61-webinar-strategy.md)), event talks ([63](63-events-strategy.md)), sales-sequence assets ([37 Play 1](../07-sales/37-sales-playbook.md)) — is _recycled essays_, never net-new writing. The essay is the atom; the system is the reactor.\n\n## 3. Format Library (complete, reusable)\n\n| Format                  | Structure                                                                                                                                                                 | Example title                                                |\n| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ |\n| **The Wound Story**     | Anecdote (real, anonymized) → the structural cause → the principle → soft bridge                                                                                          | \"The $8M account nobody saw going red\"                       |\n| **The Demotion Essay**  | Reader's AI disappointment mirrored → why it was _correct_ → what would have to be true → the rubric                                                                      | \"You were right to demote your AI\"                           |\n| **The Contrarian Take** | Popular claim → why it fails operationally → our counter-principle                                                                                                        | \"Autonomous agents are a governance incident with a roadmap\" |\n| **The Teardown**        | A work ritual dissected minute-by-minute → the tax computed → the alternative                                                                                             | \"The eight-tab morning, itemized\"                            |\n| **The Build Log**       | What we tried → what broke → what we learned → honest numbers                                                                                                             | \"Our signal engine was noisy for three versions. Here's v4.\" |\n| **The Explainer**       | One concept ([22](../04-product-marketing/22-adaptive-spine-story.md)–[27](../04-product-marketing/27-governance-story.md) stories rendered) → why it exists → proof beat | \"Why our AI is designed to stay silent\"                      |\n\n## 4. Standards (the editorial bar)\n\nEvery piece: names a failure before a feature ([20 §2](../04-product-marketing/20-product-marketing-guide.md)) · contains ≥ 1 number, mechanism, or evidence artifact · passes the terminology checklist ([18 §8](../03-positioning-messaging/18-terminology-guide.md)) · written in the voice ([13 §2](../01-foundation/13-brand-story.md)): calm, precise, on the human's side · zero hype-words (revolutionize, game-changing, unleash — auto-reject list) · product mentions earn their place or get cut; T1/T2 essays may mention the product only in the final paragraph.\n\n**The credibility rule:** we publish honest numbers including unflattering ones (build logs showing failure). One inflated claim costs the entire demoted-AI audience — they've been lied to before; that's _why_ they're our audience.\n\n## 5. Distribution & Compounding\n\nPrimary: LinkedIn ([59](59-linkedin-strategy.md)) + newsletter ([60](60-newsletter-strategy.md)) — where the ICP already is. Secondary: HN for T5 craft pieces (technical honesty travels there); community reposts ([62](62-community-strategy.md)). Each quarter: the best 12 essays get audited — top performers become pillar pages ([55](../10-website/55-seo-strategy.md)), webinar topics, and event talks; the corpus is the future book/keynote, deliberately.\n\n**KPIs ([73](../13-operations/73-marketing-metrics.md) owns dashboards):** essays shipped/weeks elapsed ≥ 90% (consistency is the strategy) · subscriber growth ≥ 10%/mo · essay → site CTA rate · content-attributed pipeline (first-touch) · reader-reply rate (the leading indicator of resonance — replies become discovery calls).\n\n---\n\n**Related:** [57 Founder-led](57-founder-led-marketing.md) · [59 LinkedIn](59-linkedin-strategy.md) · [60 Newsletter](60-newsletter-strategy.md) · [55 SEO](../10-website/55-seo-strategy.md) · [12 Messaging](../03-positioning-messaging/12-messaging-framework.md)\n"}
